Well, its official! I am now a licensed private pilot! What a feeling! I am very thankful for QAS (Quality Aviation Services), The FMA, EAA Chapter 1093, as well as everybody who helped me along the way, as I could not have done it, and most definitely could not have been able to afford it without all of the help and instruction I have received. JT Rairigh (to the right in picture) has been a phenomenal instructor, teaching and carving out not just a pilot, but the best pilot the student can be. I am very grateful to have learned under his wing. Once more, thank you to the FMA for all the help and support you have given me, as it has paid off, and I am greatly appreciative.
Thanks,
Aaron Smokovitz
P.S. Looking forward to seeing the next FMA SOLO winners progress!!!
Congratulations!! What a great feeling of accomplishment. Best wishes on your future goals.
Aaron This is awesome news! Congratulations from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada!

Aaron, we’re all so proud of you! Very glad you’re already contemplating additional ratings – one should never stop being a student pilot.
Congratulations, Aaron! That’s awesome!
Congratulations Aaron
Congratulations Aaron! What’s next?
Immediately next is college, while juggling those expenses, I am hoping to get my complex and tail wheel endorsements next, followed by my instrument.
Congratulations! If you find yourself flying around KRST, please let me know and we can do coffee or lunch!
Congratulations. Such fantastic news. I believe you are the first to obtain the PPL… of all the FMA Solo recipients!
