It is with much pleasure that we announce the 2021 FMA Solo program scholarship recipient, Shaylene Abrey-Webster. We received thirty-three nominees from across North America including Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Shaylene, a Canadian, was selected from five outstanding finalists. With this announcement, FMA has now awarded 14 learn to fly scholarships to high school music students in seven years – 3 in Canada. Visit Shaylene’s page.

We have come to expect the highest caliber of individuals nominated for this coveted and unique program. Out of 33 nominees we selected finalists for the scholarship(s). All nominees were gifted a sponsored student membership in the FMA network, good throughout their academic years. We sincerely hope each one will embrace the organization for the network that it is – a goldmine for your future pursuits in academics and on as either a vocation or avocation.

Being part of an organization of folks who share your passion is the best way to reach your goals. The FMA network encompasses over 800 pilot/musicians in all phases of life, around the world, genres of music, proficiency, as well as degrees of involvement and experiences in aviation and music. Become involved! You too can be a resource to others.
