Flight Training in my Hometown & Another Thanks to the FMA Sponsors

Hey everyone! I hope y’all are having a great summer. Earlier this week, I was able to start my flight training up again at my local airport. I’m very excited to start doing more weekly training in the next weeks and months. I’m also very happy to report that I received another package from FMA with some more aviation goodies from the FMA sponsors! It came just in time for my first lesson this week, where I got to use the new Bose A20 headset that came in the delivery. I’ve got some pictures below with everything the sponsors donated. Thanks again to Mr. Zapp for all the help and support, and to the sponsors, especially Bose Corporation and Flying Eyes Optics!

I am Junior in High School and a current Student Pilot. I have been playing piano since I was five years old, and picked up trumpet in fourth grade. I’ve been playing those two ever since and focus primarily on trumpet. In my time playing trumpet, I have earned two gold medals at State Solo and Ensemble, been selected for IMEA honor band, participated in two years of Junior All State band, and most recently I started teaching trumpet lessons. I am also a Carl A. Spaatz Award recipient in the Civil Air Patrol cadet program. In the program I plan on earning my private pilot’s license through their Cadet Wings program before I graduate. After I graduate, I’m hoping to attend the United States Air Force Academy or Purdue University Lafayette to study Aeronautical Engineering or Professional Flight. I also hope to be part of either school’s marching band programs.
