Hello! I am a senior in high school and a student pilot currently working on my PPL. I look forward to studying Astrophysical Engineering in college, and I plan to continue flying throughout my university years.
My flight journey began last year through Civil Air Patrol, and I have since attempted my written PPL exam and I have a student pilot certificate. I started my music journey when I was in 2nd grade, taught by my mom. Flute is my primary instrument, but I also play oboe at school, and I am a student harpist playing semi-professional gigs. I have played in my school jazz band, concert band, symphonic band, pit orchestra, indoor drumline, and marching band, as well as the county youth orchestra, and local college band.
Music and flight enable me to transcend the challenges and stressors of life, and they bring me joy and excitement for new horizons.
As I prepare to graduate from high school, I see my recently acquired ability to fly as a harbinger of my dreams – and I could not be more excited to jump into the plans for my future and soar!
